Welcome to My Corner of the Internet

Hi, I’m Angela, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’ve always loved creating, writing, and finding ways to make ordinary days feel a little more special. To me, that’s what everyday living, beautifully made, is all about. Whether that means trying a new recipe, working on a weekend DIY project, or planning a trip with my family, I’ve realized that life’s beauty is often found in the simple, everyday moments.

That is what this blog is all about: everyday living, beautifully made.

How It All Began

All through elementary, middle, and high school, I loved creative writing. Thanks to an incredible ELA and Media teacher who encouraged me to dream big, I spent countless hours writing scripts that she would let our class perform and record. She made learning feel alive, and because of her, I knew I wanted to become a teacher too. My hope has always been to inspire my students in the same way she inspired me.

As a teenager, my love for creativity grew in new directions. I fell in love with HGTV and all things Martha Stewart. I was fascinated by decorating, designing, crafting, and cooking, and I loved the idea of taking something simple and turning it into something beautiful. I was probably one of the only twenty-one-year-olds determined to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner from scratch and hand-make every decoration, just to create that picture-perfect holiday I had always imagined.

Those moments of creativity and determination shaped who I am today. They taught me that beauty is not about perfection. It is about the care and love we put into the things we make and share.

Why I Started This Blog

After years of dreaming, teaching, and juggling a busy life, I wanted a place where creativity and connection could come together. My hope is that when you visit, you’ll leave inspired to cook something new, make something beautiful, or simply slow down and appreciate the moment you’re in.

I also wanted a space to chronicle all of my endless ideas, new recipes, and all of the beauty that exists within my everyday life. Writing has always been a part of who I am, and this blog lets me blend that love for storytelling with my passion for creating things that bring joy to others.

Over the years, I’ve learned that life moves quickly, and sometimes we forget to pause and notice the small moments that make it special. A shared meal, a handmade gift, or an afternoon walk can remind us of what really matters. To me, that’s what everyday living, beautifully made is all about.

My hope is that this space inspires others to find beauty in the small things, chase their creative spark, and live with gratitude for what they already have. I believe that even in busy seasons, there is always room for joy, growth, and a little creativity.

Thank you for being here at the very beginning. I can’t wait to share this journey with you and see where it leads.
