Girls Trip to Nashville: The Ultimate Fun Weekend Guide
Planning a girls trip to Nashville? This weekend getaway was everything we hoped for with great food, rooftop views, and live music around every corner. When my two friends and I found out that Snooki from Jersey Shore was hosting a VIP shopping event at her Snooki Shop in Nashville, we knew it was finally time to plan the trip we had been talking about for months. The second weekend of October brought the most perfect weather, with sunny days in the low 70s and cool, comfortable nights in the 60s. It was the kind of trip that leaves you smiling the whole drive home.
Planning the Perfect Girls Trip to Nashville – Why Nashville Is the best Spot
Nashville has a little bit of everything. The energy on Broadway, the mix of live music, food, and fashion, and the endless rooftop patios make it a great city for a girls trip. It is easy to get to from almost anywhere in Tennessee, and you can fit a lot of fun into just a weekend. Whether you want to dance, shop, eat, or just relax and people-watch, the city has something for everyone.
Just about every bar that has a rooftop requires climbing several flights of stairs to get to the top, so be prepared for a little workout along the way. Your legs will definitely feel it the next day, but the views are completely worth it.

Where We Stayed: The Graduate Nashville
We stayed at The Graduate Nashville, which might be the most Instagram-worthy hotel in the city. Every corner is filled with color, art, and charm. It feels like it was designed for a girls trip to Nashville. The rooms are beautiful, and the rooftop bar, White Limozeen, has stunning city views and the most playful pink décor.
Weekend reservations for dinner and brunch at White Limozeen can sometimes book up weeks in advance, so be sure to make reservations early if it’s on your list. We didn’t get to try their brunch during our stay for that reason, but it’s definitely on my list for next time. If you visit during the summer months, the rooftop pool is adorable but on the smaller side, and reservations are required to use it.
We were excited to try karaoke at Cross-Eyed Critters, but it was closed for a private event during our stay. In addition to that, parking was another downside for us. The hotel only offers valet parking, and at $55 per night, it definitely adds up on top of the room rate. Unfortunately, there aren’t really any cheaper parking options in that area, so valet is the most convenient choice if you’re staying there.
If karaoke is on your must-do list, call ahead to confirm availability since those venues are managed separately from the hotel.

Exploring Broadway
Broadway is always alive with music. You can hear bands playing from every doorway and rooftop. We loved walking up and down the street and just soaking it all in. One night, we considered getting small matching tattoos at Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville, but they had a five-and-a-half-hour wait with a $180 shop minimum. We decided to pass and keep exploring, but it’s such a fun spot to visit even if you don’t get a tattoo.

Where We Ate and Drank
Posty’s
We were thrilled to check out Posty’s, which had just opened a few days earlier. Post Malone himself had hosted the grand opening concert on Broadway earlier in the week, so it was fun to see the excitement still buzzing. The rooftop bar was our favorite hangout. The music took us right back to our early 2000s playlists, and the seating area was perfect for relaxing with friends.
If you’d like to see more about the grand opening of Posty’s and Post Malone’s concert that shut down Broadway, you can check out my full blog post about that here.

Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar
We stopped in for dinner at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar to kick off our girls trip to Nashville, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was lively, and the food was way better than typical “bar food.” We tried the sliders, skillet mac and cheese, and a fresh salad. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. Drinks were pricey, which was expected on Broadway, but the quality and energy made it worth it.

Ole Red
For lunch the next day, we tried Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, another spot that impressed us. The fried green tomatoes with corn salsa were the standout dish. The service was friendly, and the view from the upper level gave us a great look at the busy streets below.

Relaxing Between the Fun
After lunch at Ole Red, we wanted a quieter place to unwind, and Morgan Wallen’s This Bar turned out to be perfect. While the rooftop was packed with people, we found a cozy side room with leather couches, a small bar, and TVs that felt like a stylish man cave. It was the ideal place to sit and relax on a Saturday afternoon before heading to the Snooki meet-and-greet event later that day.
If you want to see more about our VIP shopping and meet-and-greet experience with Snooki at her Nashville Snooki Shop, I have a full post about that here.

Travel Tips for Nashville
- Best time to visit: Early to mid-October for perfect weather and lighter crowds
- Parking at The Graduate: Valet only at $55 per night. There aren’t many cheaper options nearby, so plan for that in your budget
- Walking: Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to explore Broadway at night
- Rooftop access: Most rooftops require climbing several flights of stairs
- Reservations: Make reservations early for White Limozeen brunch, dinner, or pool access. Check ahead for private events at The Graduate’s other venues to make sure your girls trip to Nashville is perfect.
- Budget tip: Expect $20 to $25 cocktails on Broadway
- Best Broadway Parking: We parked at the 128 4th Avenue garage, which had easy access to Broadway and nearby restaurants. It was well-lit, easy to navigate, and only about a block from the action. Parking was $35 for up to 12 hours, which is much more reasonable than many other downtown options.
Final Thoughts
This girls trip to Nashville was everything we hoped for. We laughed nonstop, made memories that will last forever, and fell in love with the mix of food, music, and Southern charm that Nashville offers. Whether you are planning your first visit or your tenth, Nashville has a way of making every weekend feel special.
If you are looking for your next girls getaway, this is the one to plan. And if you are heading there soon, I would love to hear your favorite places to eat or listen to live music.
